Tasks:
There is a challenging vacancy in the plant supply transport planning sector. As a specialist, you will be responsible for analysing, planning, implementing and managing/maintaining planning instruments for determining transport costs in product projects. You analyse, bolster and maintain existing systems that are based on Excel using an existing database and methodology. On this basis, you will be responsible for redesigning a planning instrument that is based on a database. This includes developing the technical and IT concepts and the implementation phase in cooperation with specialist departments and external partners. You work closely with the logistical and IT technical departments and are responsible for implementing and rolling out the new systems.
Qualifications:
- University degree in business studies, industrial engineering, information systems or a comparable qualification, preferably specialising in logistics or information processing
- Extensive professional experience of IT projects, preferably in the fields of logistics and transportation
- Project management in IT projects
- Knowledge of logistical processes in the automotive and components industry. - Good MS Office skills
- Excel and database system skills at a professional level
- Excellent command of English, including negotiating proficiency
- Team skills and communication skills
- The ability to think analytically
