Tasks:

There is an interesting vacancy as a quality management employee (m/f) in the automotive:

  • You ensure that the components for which you are responsible are high quality around the world across projects in the vehicles.
  • In your sector, you have knowledge of the best suppliers around the world with regard to their product range, manufacturing and quality processes and are the competent point of contact (m/f) for queries regarding quality in relation to suppliers from the interface partners in purchasing, development, assembly and logistics.
  • As part of the product development process, you ensure productive and stable manufacturing processes by the supplier and decide whether to approve delivery for the components for which you are responsible.
  • You control the concepts regarding efficient quality target achievement, ability to be manufactured and installed in the vehicle and are involved in supplier decisions.
  • You have general knowledge of error events by the supplier and in the field, and are able to perform preventive quality work with the aim of “0 errors”.
  • As part of the fault rectification process, you determine core causes of errors and ensure sustainable problem solving by the supplier.
  • You work in an international network with colleagues from the international production locations and are able to assert our customers’ interests at eye level with the management in the supplier industry.

Qualifications:

  • Degree in electrical engineering, industrial engineering, mechanical engineering, a comparable engineering degree or a comparable qualification
  • Several years of work experience
  • Project experience / project management knowledge
  • Knowledge of quality management and quality techniques
  • Experience in the automotive industry is beneficial
  • Experience in investigating vehicle products and their components
  • Experience in the field of AE projects and SAP is beneficial
  • Extensive knowledge of industrial production processes
  • Excellent command of German, including negotiating proficiency, and good command of English
  • Good MS Office skills
  • Team skills and communication skills
  • Ability to be assertive and negotiation skills
  • Analytical and structured approach to work
  • Successful work in inter-cultural teams and committees
  • Willingness to travel
