Tasks:
Sub-project management of pre-development projects in the field of CFRP technology: In your role as a sub-project manager you will plan and coordinate pre-development projects in the field of CFRP technology. In the initial phase of the projects, you will define the goals, content, milestones and resources required for the projects in consultation with the participating technology units. Creating and leading a functionally capable project team are among the most important tasks. You will monitor the progress of the project independently and on your own authority in consultation with the BMW specialist departments. In doing so, you will have responsibility for the budget assigned to you and for achieving the specified project objectives. You will report the status of the project to the decision-making committees in an easily intelligible manner. You will facilitate the process of transfer to subsequent series projects by documenting the project objectives in the form of outcome reports, work instructions, procedural regulations etc.
Qualifications:
- Engineering graduate (technical university/university of applied science) specialising in plastics engineering, process engineering, mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering or equivalent expertise acquired in another manner
- You have relevant work experience in the field of fibre-reinforced composites and have knowledge of materials engineering for the processing of plastics. Alternatively, you have an industrial engineering degree or a comparable degree
- You have several years of experience managing pre-development or series projects
- You work extremely well in a team environment, have excellent communication skills, have an analytical mind, are a committed individual and have a talent for organisation
