Job description
- Supervision of aeronautical or plant engineering development projects with a view to ensuring the highest level of quality
- Supervising the development process and drawing up quality plans
- Approval of reference documentation (documents, drawings, parts lists etc.) for prototypes, serial devices and test beds
- Involvement in initial sample inspections
- Drawing up QA-relevant documentation
- Performing internal and external audits
- Quality-related supplier liaison and support
- Contribution to QA-relevant procedures
- Conscientious implementation of our quality standards in the development team
- Monitoring and enforcement of our configuration and change management systems
- Complaint handling (8D report), fault analysis and action tracking
- Participation in supplier selection right through to drawing up specifications
- Independent preparation and execution of FMEA meetings and follow-up work regarding this
- Preparing of FMEA-related processes, action tracking, reporting and FMEA presentations
- Involvement in ensuring that delivery times for individual parts and system parts are adhered to by suppliers
- Maintenance and verification of order data for components
Qualifications
- Engineering degree (BA, university of applied science, university, bachelor, master)
- Ideally, several years of experience in running projects and an understanding of commerce
- Knowledge of the quality management system in accordance with DIN ISO 9001, VDA 6.1 and TS 16949
- Tools and methods for quality management: Cause/effect diagram, system FMEA,
- Six Sigma Quality, Advanced Product Planning (APQP)
- High level of appreciation for quality, preferably with knowledge of QM systems and quality techniques
- Process-oriented approach to thinking and acting
- Excellent communication skills, team skills and the ability to assert oneself
This position calls for excellent team skills, a high level of spoken and written English due to the international nature of our business and the ability to work confidently on the PC. We expect you to think in a deadline and target-oriented manner and act in a practicable fashion.
